Scratch & Dent EquiMud 250gm

EquiMud is our high quality hoof clay, made with carefully selected, all-natural ingredients including pure Tasmanian honey, essential oil and zinc oxide.

EquiMud is ideal for use in the frog, sulcus and other shallow hoof crevices. EquiMud contains no harsh or corrosive ingredients known to degrade the beneficial microbiota and solar/frog tissue, in particular it contains no copper sulphate and we have avoided the use of tea tree oil as this is an allergen for some equines.

The thick, yet smooth consistency provides for a very easy to apply product. If you can’t beat the mud, join it! The use of clay is designed to stick to the hoof as mud would allowing us to compete with debris and replace it with an effective purifying alternative.

EquiMud is also perfect for application when trimming and in use under 3D pads, glue on shoes, dental impression material and during prolonged use of hoof boots.

In the case of packing deeper cracks and resections EquiFibre is recommended.
